I think we still need a few more to make it happen ( must be an administration nightmare for the TVRCC )

I hear that we are still 15 cars short of the required number so please sign up before it gets cancelled.
You know you want to - so just do it.

Any word from the club whether it's time yet to open the gates to non-marque friends to bolster numbers?

The advert shows a price of £175 for non-members and as far as I know there is no requirement to use a TVR. Best thing to do is to phone the office to check.

As James says, in order to maximise the chance of this going ahead we are now opening up to other marques, but with the proviso they are of similar cost and performance, no 2K cheap track toys!

Deposit paid a month ago, so I'm already one of the 41, not booked a hotel/B&B yet, just in case.

But I really want to do this brilliant event again, even if non TVR's allowed in.

Please see info below. The booking is in danger of being lost if we cannot find a few more people
Thanks!

Paul, you are welcome to stay at mine before the event if you like - I am about one hour from the track at Newark on Trent.
I am hoping there will be more than one guest to make an evening of it.
No offence will be taken if you decide to stay closer to the track.

Or ......... given it’s a big ask with such limited time, does the TVR CC raise the cost by £50 per car, and increase track time to reflect?

You could probably go open pit lane, or possibly just two groups not three?

It’s still decent value at that I reckon. Just my thoughts- at least then the event happens.

Many thanks for the kind offer Anthony. Being a bedwetter, especially the night before a track day, I'll let a local B&B/Hotel have the pleasure of changing my sheets. See you on the day, hopefully.

Thankfully, my 'constant kick in the balls' start to the year has continued in similarly crappy way. A consequence of this is that I won't be in Alicante on / around the 24th so I can now sign up for this.

So, I'll start a list for the sacred 15 who are going to save this event. The existing 41 can pay homage throughout the day.

Hi C1RVY - The plan is to go open pit lane after lunch, but we need sessions in the morning for the Novice group's benefit. Depending upon the number of novices, maybe we can just have two groups in the morning. We will see.

It's probably too short notice to up the price for this year. Re a price increase in future years, we can discuss that on the day.

I for one wouldn't be paying £205 for a track day at any race track, never mind Cadwell Park.
For that reason I don't go to Brands Hatch GP or Silverstone.

I appreciate the need for novice groups at Cadwell Park for TVR owners, and love seeing so many TVRs on track together - otherwise I wouldn't normally book anything with sessions, because it means everyone in the group hits the track at the same time, causing congestion, and you have to go out when you are told, ready or not. Open pit lane means you just join the track when you are good and ready without hanging around in a queue for ten minutes or more.

Even though I live close to Cadwell Park, I do wonder if we might try a different track next time? It has been Cadwell Park since I first got my TVR. For so many, Cadwell Park is slightly beyond the back of beyond. Snetterton is more accessible to the south east corner and a nice open track with not a lot to hit, Donington Park is more central and a great track, and Oulton Park is much more accessible for the northwestern folk, as well as the midlanders.

They are all MSV tracks, and Jonathon Palmer (owner and MD) dropped in on a Snetterton track day in his helicopter once when 10 of us in TVRs were there. He made a point of coming to see us in the pits and telling us how much he loved seeing so many TVRs on track together.

56 seems a high expectation for a single marque early season trackday?
