Trusting you are all well and keeping in good spirits.
I have been quiet of late watching how the pandemic pans out and its effects on socialising which is still confusing. However, I have come to the conclusion that life has to go on and propose to restart the end of the month drive outs and meets. As yet, not too sure how these will work as we can no longer book a table in numbers. A lot of pubs are only taking bookings for full Sunday lunches rather than bar snacks/sandwiches which could be taken outside. I will check with the "establishment of the month" prior and issue details a week before we are due to go.
Of immediate interest is a Socially Distanced BBQ next Saturday (5th) from 12.30pm. Organised by Blackpool Thunder CC, it will be held at The Rigbye Arms, 2, Whittle Lane, Wrightington, Parbold, Lancashire. WN6 9QB.
The event is by reservation only with pre-paid tickets. There are a few tables remaining, so if anyone is interested in going please let me know asap.
