Peter, are you motorhoming or roughing it in a hotel?
Motorhome.

Last TVRCC TD, I parked up in the pits late the evening before. Shortly after the unfortunate Tamora behind me burst into flames!

I won’t be in a TVR, not an issue.
What will you be in?
TTRS Audi I think ?
Then I will be your poor cousin in my old vRS.

Does it have a LSD?

It’s got Audis 4WD Quattro system. Never had any wheels spinning up even with everything turned off smile

Still a slim chance I’ll be there in our 3000m race car.

Really! At Brands 2 weeks ago the inner front wheel was spinning on every bend, even at 80mph.

An LSD is on my list.

How much LSD (for us older readers) does a VRS LSD set you back?

About £700– £800 Plus fitting to the box which I reckon will be about £500 by specialist. Obviously I would take the gearbox out and send it away. I plan to do it after Castle Combe and before any other track day. This modification is totally useless for the road as you would never get yourself in that position for the LSD to take effect.

Oh and add a single mass flywheel and competition clutch at the same time.

You know what it’s like, you start and it’s a continuous downward spiral!

Probably not. The 5.5 was quicker than all the fast hatchbacks there. I don’t think it will be too far behind though. The 5.5 wasn’t particularly wonderful around the bends but made up for it on the short straights with brute power.

Back on subject. I guess the majority of cars there will be TVRs. Hopefully the Covid thing will have stabilised and allow visitors and onlookers which up to today they haven’t been at track days.

Visa confirmation should be forthcoming this weekend. So I may book in to the Brantithorpesvner down the road. Can you save a 'pit' space next to Cafe Phazed with the other favourites please.

If the weather is as wet as it was at Castle Combe at 4pm Friday, just when Peter decided to load his car onto his trailer, then Wendy Boat-comes-in will be most suitable.
