Regarding tyre pressures. I would run road tyre pressures or thereabouts and just see how they are performing. They are not track tyres so will go off sooner so pay attention after about four laps as they may not grip as well when they are hot.
If it is cooler and wet, then they will not heat up so stick to the road pressures.
I normally run triple 8’s or similar and run at road pressures and when they increase in temperature usually take out about five psi.
As mentioned above, don’t forget to check them before you drive home!

Thanks for tips. I will definitely need to remember to come in after a few hot laps to let tyres cool. Need to remember to take everything loose out of car, cover arms and legs. I’m hiring a helmet hopefully as I don’t have one yet (they said this is possible at track).
I think I will fill up night before and see how fuel usage goes. Will bring pressure guage.
Other than driving licence and the paperwork TVRCC sent I presume that’s it from a paperwork side? I’ve told insurance company.

If it hasn’t been said before, don’t use the handbrake once you have come in to the pits area. This has a tendency to overheat the discs in one area and can cause warping.
I tend to roll to a stop in first gear, switch off the ignition, let the clutch out and not use the brakes at all when coming to a halt in the pits.

Not running filters Jon, or is the filtration built into the bonnet?
No filters at the mo, on the ‘to do’ list.Really need them for passenger comfort , a lot of fume and smell when they’re not fitted.
Previously had piper cross socks over each pair of trumpets, which worked fine but would really like a more open filter over all three.
On the up side it won’t be me driving it to Louth, so I won’t smell like a gallon of four star!

Sounds like a job for a trailer!
We are taking the Gem so the trailers already taken, the M will have to slog it up the M/way,TwinKam said:
Comes up as a 'turbo' on my car checker, Jon... was it once?
Strange it comes up as that as its far earlier than the turbos, so no, never a turbo. It is No 1 of the 13 MLs built and was the TVR press and Earls Court motorshow car for 1974 ( Not the naked models Year).
