Looking forward to this event again - need to get booked on as it’s always a superb day out.
I suspect it may already be fully booked - worth a look though, and sign on the reserves list if it is.
Strangely, these cars do break down (mine is broken right now), so places may come available.

Bugger! Not like me to miss the boat on this one - I’ll ring the office on Monday.

Cheers

Hi - I like the look of that sparco X1 - do you know if it complies with (to quote the blurb on the TVRCC website) "the current safety requirements designed for circuit use, or Motorsport UK/ACU/FIM/FIA standards"?

Thanks!
Hi - I assume it is. It got a mention in the EVO Trackday article:

While I'm not making Cadwell frown I fancy Donnington in August so I started a dedicated thread.

Not done Donnington before so very keen.

I'm also considering a Snetts in July - possibly the 18th. Depends on getting a car back on the 21st May smile

I discovered my steering rack was leaking last weekend.

Thankfully they good folks at Torque RVT have taken it in despite them being busy, so I’m hoping the rack can be refinished in time for this track day.

Only a week to go. smile

Just go to swap my road wheels and brake pads for the track wheels and track brake pads.

Weather looks dry if not dull but that is fine.

Really looking forward to this, (unlike the drive there and back!)

Same here, on both counts. Should be just over three hours each way for me, assuming all is well with the Dartford Crossing and M11!

I have various choices, all tedious! All routes will take about the same time apparently!

Any recommendations? I seem to go a different way every time.

I always used to go the A1 then cross country route but almost inevitably the cross country rural route would have delays in keeping with it's rural nature. The more westerly version is usually quicker whatever Waze or Googly maps tell you when you set off - depending how strict you are with your need for speed..

No need for speed. Towing with a motorhome 56 mph truck speed!

Westerly route may also be easier with a need for momentum ......
