GROWL FRIDAY NIGHT CURRY RUN.
The annual pre Growl weekend festivities again kicks off Friday night 31st July 2009 with the traditional coach run into Stratford on Avon for the Curry night.
Coach leaves Ettington Chase at 19.00 for meal at 19.30. Return coach from Restaurant at 22.00.
Meal.
Any starter.
Any main course.
Rice or Naan bread.
Complimentary side dish.
Drinks are the individuals responsibilty! Usually worked out per table.
At the moment I am more than hopeful that I can get the meal and coach at LESS than last years price which was about £18 from memory. (I have the meal cost, just awaiting confirmation of the coach cost.)
What do I have to do now to participate in this evening of general bonhomie with fellow Griffters, I hear you say.
Simply contact me with numbers attending preferably by PM or email at
young@debbob.fsnet.co.uk
For now I just need to know how many are attending.
Payment will not be required until much nearer the time, I will update with the actual cost shortly.
I now have the cost of the meal and the coach there enabling a drink or three....Last year £18.00 for the meal and coach...This year a credit busting £15.00! All in, well except booze but come on...

Ta,
Bob.

MERCHANDISE ORDERING AND PRICES

Right here goes. Many thanks to Sharon (saf and fellow Griff owner) for again agreeing to do the Growl merchandise for 2009. All merchandise will carry the 2009 logo which is a mid blue car on a grey background with black type (ie GRIFF GROWL). The polo colour this year is red which many many have seen modelled by Mrs FFG and myself at Chatsworth. We seem to lag a long way behind the Wedges for personalised polos on the day so lets show them we care about the Griff and support our annual event. £2 of the stated costs per item (with the exception of the Strut Pads, Coffee Mugs and Hats) will be donated to the stated charity so you can do your bit for charity all included in the bargain prices. Hi Guys,

Need your help for the 2009 Griff Growl, please?????

After promising the filmed driveouts from the event this year (as per last year) we have found we can't have our video motorcycle frown. However, we have a video equipped Scooby instead, but there is a problem.

John, the video man, needs to look at a Griff before the Growl to see how to rig the cars up quickly for camera and sound, and that's where one of you (hopfully) come in. Is there anyone with a Griff who is near to Bridlington, East Yorks, who can help. John would need to have the car for about an hour on a weekend sometime (not to drive, but to measure up).

Please let me know,

Jules

Hi guys , I've hit a problem with the band for this year , I've just been informed that the lead singer has been involved in quite a serious car accident and as such they have cancelled all their gigs for the foreseable future. I've tried getting replacement but as yet no luck , does anyone know of a band that might be able to cover it ... costs etc .. i would appreciate ... in meantime will continue to try and find alternative

Hello Kirk

I don't know if you've sorted the band yet but my brother has a blues brother type lot

http://www.therhythmandbluesbrothers.co.uk/RABBsit...

They're free that evening but based in London so the costs will have to reflect the travel involved
