Trackday 22nd March - Snetterton
Discussion
OK, on the back of a few other threads ref trackdays I've booked myself onto Javelin's one at Snetterton on the 22nd Mar. It'll be my first time, and it would be great to have someone who knows the circuit to get me up to speed so to speak. I've got a garage prebooked too, so got some space to 'tinker' if needs be. Anyone interested?

Might give you a helping hand, if dirty boys there, don't take him for a ride he breaks things.
Have fun its not a bad cct to start on and the guys are helpful. don't be afraid to ask people as well. Also take a instructor the 25 quid is well worth the money if your new.
Keep an eye on ur mirrors and let the fast cars thro before the corners it will make it less stressful for u.
do go mad to start with find a pace car and watch.
I'm there 27th

Can't imagine much going past a Cerbera lol! Mind you, there are some mental Caterham/esque cars out there, corners don't seem to exist to them do go mad to start with find a pace car and watch.

Another tip...get your sighting laps under your belt, then come in, sit on the pit wall and watch for 10-20 minutes, it'll allow you to see what you're looking out for when out there yourself.
Don't forget to warm everthing up slowly over a couple of laps first either! Easy to forget when you're on a track and just want to put your foot down.

Ooh bugger, I quite fancy Snetterton sometime, sadly it's mothers day which means I better be around to help the kids pamper my wife , you'd think at 6 & 4 they'd be able to sort breakfast in bed for her and cook the lunch, lazy little buggers.
Oh crapMothers day you say?
Erm

All booked up!
A real Cerbera racing driver to show me how its done![/topgunvoiceon]You can share my pit garage anytime[/topgunvoiceoff]
I see from the entry list there is a GT3 driver entered as an 'expert' - will be interesting to see the comparison with an expertly driven Cerb!

If we could share a garage that would be great. Would save you bringing tools etc as we will have all our kit there.
