I will be going, not sure which day, could even be both.
I remember the good old days when we used to go on the parade lap in the lunch brake for free, I remember hitting 95mph at Oulton Park, there was supposed to be a course car there too, but I didn't see it, I don't know why it would have to be £25 but yet I don't know what the situation is on organising it so I will not complain, it must have something to do with health and safety issues, the thing is though, at least people still have a chance to do this and I am sure there will be plenty that will be grateful of that.

All - it should be a superb weekend.
The TVRCC Sprint magazine published an order form without really explaining what the weekend is about....
The TVR Tuscan Challenge is 20 years old this year and the Donington weekend will be a celebration of this. There are two Tuscan Challenge races with some of the old names from the past returning. Martin Short is confirmed for example.
I understand that the TVRCC is organising some form of evening entertainment which no doubt will be publicised when finalised.
The parade lap(s) I think are being organised by Britcar and I agree that it is pricey. My speculation is that Britcar see this as an opportunity to make a bit of additional profit. I do know that the person driving the safety/pace car intends the pace to be 'brisk', so it should be fun - but only you can decide whether £25 is worth it.
In a weekend full of racing, Britcar have two 90 minute races and two TVR Sagaris V8s are entered for that.
In addition the Dutch Supercars have four 45-60 min races - 2 each for the GT division and Sport divisions. We are entered for the top class of this in our Sagaris.
The Aston Martin Owners Club have a number of races including Super GT, and again this race will feature at least one TVR.
So if motor racing appeals and TVR racing in particular is your thing, this really is your best opportunity to see the most diverse collection of TVRs racing throughout a weekend. Add to that an element of Le Mans style camping and beers 'of an evening', and it should be a superb weekend.

Does anyone have a bit more info as to what the TVRCC ticket 'package' includes?
If like me you're planning on going but there's only likely to be me in the car on Saturday and the better half and little one joining on Sunday it works out cheaper to just buy the tickets on the door. (£36 against £42)
Not sure why it states a ticket is needed for kids, as these have always been free as long they are with a fee paying adult.
So is there more to the TVRCC ticket or is it only a deal if you plan on having at least 2 in the car all weekend?

Tony
Not asked on TVRCC as frankly I've never been on there, no idea how to get on, and I've only got so much 'internet time' in the day and spending it here is more useful.
To be honest parking where everyone else is isn't that much of a concern, not sure where anyone is going to be parking with the new building work underway, should be there on Saturday though for the 1st car racing of the season so will be checking things out then.
I'd actually be surprised if infield parking is even on the cards this year knowing just how extensive the building work is, it'll be strange not seeing the Dunlop Bridge now it's been taken down.
