Fabulous Day! Had such fun driving up at the front with a Tuscan S hot on my heels. Thanks again Jon for organising the event it was a great way to spend the day, even though I did kerb my brand new alloys!
Turns out the reason the front end was so skittish was cos some idiot put 36psi in all the tyres when I specifically asked them to put 24 in. Will be having words with them tomorrow!

I can only echo what has already been said. A truly excellent day!
Brilliant route, wonderful cars, and stunning weather. All in all..a perfect TVR day.
A big shout out to Jon aka Chimjunkie as he must have run the equivalent of a mini marathon making sure we were all kept together etc.. Very well organised, very enjoyable.
Excellent photo's Mal! Fantastic seeing everyones car. You can see how most are 'squatting' hard on the gas as they are pulling away on that roundabout - awesome!
Apologies to anyone i bored re: my recent hospital/under the knife experience... i really wasn't sure i could do this today. I did, and loved it.
Paying for it now, .... but bloody worth it!

Well what can i say? Thankyou very much for all making the effort to break free of the sunday morning ly-in and the sunday roast! I was overwhelmed by the response to this one. Such an awesome experience being part of a TVR convoy. Sorry for rushing the stops. Would have been nice to stop for longer, but we were very behind schedule! Bike road races, out of control horses, and 40mph muppets! Very glad that the convoy stayed together, although a few mishaps occurred. Anyone care to post what happened when the convoy ended up on someones drive!
Thanks Simon and Lisa for taking control of the first section. Was also great to pick up people along the way. We really made a lot of peoples day with the spectacle of us lot passing though. We do take our toys for granted and often forget that they are still pin-up cars for a lot of people
Lets do it all again sooooooon!
Jon.
p.s Sorry we were late Mal! You must have felt silly lurking on the roundabout with a camera
Also, great that you joined in with the beginning of the convoy. Nice to see your motor on the road.

Jon, thank you for the warm welcome and, of course, for leading me in the right direction whilst lost at 9.30 am!
Living in London, I don't often get to drive B road twisties but I really enjoyed this morning and it was good to talk to Lewis, Gareth and others and swap stories.
I happened to look in the mirror earlier and I've got a suntan!
Being Scottish, it usually takes a week in the sun for me to to change from pale blue to white!
My car is de-catted and has straight through pipes but it was drowned out by that pesky, de-catted 5l Griffith that sat behind me most of the run. Respect

I've knocked together a quick video, but Vimeo is being crap. It's been 2 hours since I started the upload and it is still in a queue to be processed. Hopefully it will be live in the next hour...

The video is password protected, so drop me a message for the PW...
Hopefully see you all on a run again soon!

I took around 200 shots in all, hard work sorting them all but worth it. I left the three shots of the red V8S together as that really did lift the nose up. Brilliant route, wonderful cars, and stunning weather. All in all..a perfect TVR day.

I have the pictures from the roundabout available as roughly 1 meg files if anyone wants a high res version. They would normally be 3 -4 meg but I deliberately framed them back to ensure I had room to crop and also didnt cut of anyones front or rear end. The static shots are all around 3 meg if your email can take it.
Just email me with the number of the picture(s) on ro@tvrcc-herts-beds.co.uk
Fantastic fun .... gassed the Terminator (pre cats don't you just love them ) ... 2 wrong turns (Yes I too ended up on on the drive) .... frightened by a quiet ferrari when he put his foot down, didn't hear him until then ......and a fuel stop.
Thanks to Jon and co for organising..... much appreciated
off to look at Mals pics now.
