When you come to the end of that road where you do a left to Newport if you turn right the layby is up there about 1 mile on your right handside, have a look this weekend if you can and see what you think?
Will do Darren.

I am a newbie of a few months with little country road experience. A griff 500 might not be the best thing to drive on my first run in to a meet. However, if I can make it I will but would like to go at the back to watch and learn from the James Hunt skills in front.
Do you think this is a good idea or should I get some 'twisties' experience under my belt first.

Cheers

Hi Steve! Welcome.

Shabs has only just got his and will be near the back. Zippee (if he can make it) is running his rebuilt engine in and will be near the back, so the pace will be sensible. Do bring the TVR and enjoy the run. Guarantee you will be talking about it and grinning for ages after smile

As I have said, everyone should drive within their comfort zone. No one will be left behind as the group will frequently regather especially before turn offs. I will also have a copy of the route on the day.

Hi Steve - Not a problem (we aren't all stirling moss like driving gods) providing my car is back I'll be coming along and bringing up the rear whilst running in a bottom end rebuild on my car so I certainly won't be caning it (Ltd to 3000rpm max) so you'll be welcome to tag along with me.
Though most runs like this I've been on have good waiting points anyway.

Also - whilst I know the roads pretty well I'm not 100% sure of all the route so don't blame me if we get lost.... smile

Cool - Hope all goes well then. The H&B lot are some of the friendliest TVRCC members I've met.

Where abouts in Beds are you anyway? Will have to keep a look out..
