Regarding proposed route, I thought I'd just confirm what I am thinking for tomorrow (same as Tamster suspected earlier in the thread);

A1 up to Newark, turn left at that huge roundabout onto A617 past Mansfield, over M1 at junction 29, on to Chesterfield, pick up A619 to Chatsworth .
