Dave, or anyone else in the above list!
I've not been to Chatsworth before (in fact I've not even been to the LFE bit of the M1 before I don't think!) and as I'll be on my own making map reading a bit tricky I was wondering who knew the way and would be prepared to lead us up to Chatsworth?
We could do M1 all the way or.......

I can recommend a more 'interesting' run to chatsworth off the M1 from J26 or 27 (rather than the standard Chesterfield A617 or Matlock A6 routes) if anyone is looking for a fun way:
B600 - Watnall, Underwood, Somercotes
B6016 - Swanwick, Pentrich
Right on Millstone Lane or Riley Lane to B6013 to Oakerthorpe
Left on A615 to Wessington, Brackenfield
Right before Tansley onto Lickpenny Lane (or a number of others), heading North onto Matlock Moor, across the B6014 and the A632 and B5057, dropping down into Beeley or Rowsley, right turn onto the B6012 into the Chatsworth estate
