Yeah, but didn't the Blues Brothers (Blues, geddit?) say half a tank?

Although I guess they didn't have a hotel booked at Dartford either.

Now THAT would be fun! Especially when they find themselves in the midst of 150 TVRs. Liking it.

I was actually thinking of sending them after you as the rest of us went the other way wink But I'm liking your idea more biggrin

We're staying overnight Saturday (yep - wimps, I know) just in Kent. Anyone heading over from there Sunday morning, maybe along the A2?

I am more than likely using the A2, will be joining from the M25 and will have a few more Sussex Tivvers with me, no idea what time they will be leaving though!

OK that sounds a possibility.... I'll PM you nearer the time, and maybe we can exchange mobbie numbers.

Be good to tag onto a convoy for a short way.

Have a look at the Essex Run-in thread - there will be a few of us meeting at Thurrock.
Which hotel are you booked into btw - 2 TVR's firing up at OMGoclock may not go down well!!

We're staying at the Holiday Inn London-Bexley. I think any TVRs firing up at about 05:30 will be a fine thing on a Sunday morning.... And anyway, they won't catch us biggrin

ETA Hey Steve, we were staying in the Dartford one originally but changed to the Bexley Hilton as it's nearer and there are a few nice areas nearby - Blackheath, Bexley Village, Greenwich. Have a look-see if there are any rooms still free. It's a short walk to Bexley Station so your wife could get a train right into central London from there AND we could have the two-Tiv dawn chorus. thumbup

Mine's booked through their rewards scheme, so I can't change it now, besides, it's close to Bluewater (missus happy), and close to the crossing tunnel (I'm happy - a few saturday evening practice runs I think...!) It's an open air car park so should not be so bad in the morning. Unlike the Gateshead hotel which had an underground car park... smokin
