Cadwell Track Day 28th Sept (in SPRINT) who's going?

I've just filled the form in for the track day on Monday 28th September at Cadwell that has been advertised in Sprint.

I've done quite a number of bike track days at Cadwell - it is a truely spectacular circuit to ride. I've not done a car track day before, but am doing the Aqatix organised Rockingham skid pan half day, followed by a half day round the circuit. Thought that I'd better learn how to handle the Cerb - only got it in Jan!

I think that the 28th track day doesn't include the Woodlands section, but uses the more open and flowing part of the circuit (Charlies, Coppice, Park straight, Chris Curve, Gooseneck, Mansfield, then looks like a hairpin back onto itself just before the Mountain section)

I wont be doing it then, theyre missing out the best bit for me!

This is probably one of the only TVR specific track days in the calendar and it should be supported wherever possible.

I've just called the TVRCC and they are going to check whether it's the full circuit or the "non-Woodlands" circuit (I'm sure it has a more official name than that )- I'll post answer here when I hear back from them.

WE SHOULD SUPPORT THIS TVR SPECIFIC EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having called TVRCC the only other one left this year is Castle Combe on 24th July - which I can't make.

If we don't support these events, they won't exist in the future - quid pro quo! £155 seems pretty good value compared to the costs of other car track days that exist (e.g. I've having to pay £140 just for a 1/2 day at Rockingham......)

I will be there but with cameras and video.
It's a great track to drive round, be driven round or even just to walk round talking in the atmospher and taking photos, there is always a great bunch of guys and gals there so why not get yoursevles along there in September.
Oh and it's free to just watch.

There are 28 cars booked so far and we need 58 to break even. Quite a few people meet up the night before in Louth for a quiet beer and an italian meal if anybody wants to make a weekend of it.
