Just to remind everyone, the TVRCC Herts and Beds meeting will not be at the Tudor Oaks this month.

We are of to support the Sporting Bears charity at their Gala Day in Kimbolton. This is a combination of car show and craft show and is always well supported by local car clubs.

We are meeting with the Cambridgeshire Region and it promises to be an excellent day.

The arrangements are as follows:

SUNDAY 19th JULY

We will be meeting at the Tudor Oaks for 8.00 and leaving at 8.30 and will have any tickets I haven’t sold with me.

Entry is available on the gate but the advance tickets are at a reduced cost of £5. All of this goes directly to the Charity.

If you are not meeting up to be part of the convoy you need to go to Kimbolton School. Directions couldn’t be easier A1(M) to the B645 Higham Ferriers / St Neots junction and turn left.

This is a good driving road but needs a bit of caution as the police also are aware of its twisty nature and of course will be aware of the car show, you have been warned. Follow the B645 through a couple of villages until you get to the school just before Kimbolton Village. It should be well signposted and there is likely to be a traffic hold up at the entrance. Once inside the grounds we can be found on Stand 39 which is on the outside of the cricket pitch.

Also this is also one of your last chances to arrange advance tickets for Knebworth on the August Bank holiday weekend.

Edited - dream rides is not running this year so I'll join you guys if I may. Mal - am I able to pick up a ticket from you on Saturday if you're about? I'll probably wait on the A1 by St Neots until you come by before tacking onto the back of your convoy so wouldn't be able to collect the ticket from you on the day..

Mal

How long are we expected to stay? If I need to get away early afternoon would that be a problem?

Not a problem. We are only going in convoy to make it easier for them to get things started.

Mrs Grumpy is going to be with me so we wont be staying all day either!

Steve,

I'll be waiting at the A1 lay by just after the blackcat roundabout (Northbound) from around qtr to nine, ready to tack onto the back of the convoy!
