we are going and its our first time to this event. Have they got a rolling road confirmed? might give ours a burn on it just to see how she fares as an early 400

I'll be going, hopefully with the Herts & Beds lot. Just waiting on confirmation of the weather!

Never have a rolling road it's not that type of show - had a dragster fire up one year - take a look at the link on OP and this link

http://www.sportingbears.org.uk/KimboltonInfo/Kimb...

It's a family farye with a relaxed excellent car show, 6-700 cars last year but spread out in the grounds so that most people think there is only half that number

N.B. unfortunately there will be no Sporting Bears Dream Rides at the show this year so Zippee can relax and enjoy the show - weather forecast looks reasonable Tony

That'll be why the attractions listed on the website say rolling road then?

As Mr Mainwaring would say "I wondered who'd spot that first"

No sorry appolgies to all (the Roling Road attendance is nothing I know about)

Thanks for the correction Gary

The show web site is not ours and is usually a little slow to update so I don't study it too hard, I try to help to keep our web site up to date but can't keep up with too many others

We've not had one before that I've seen (usually I'm a bit busy during the day, but not this year - no SBDR)

A lot of owners who are quite happy with their cars would be disappointed in true RR figures, for the record my car was 65 bhp at the flywheel and 44 bhp at the wheels when it was being tested for the right carb needles

I never put my "280 TVR bhp" 4.3 Griff on a RR but I'd guess it was a lot nearer 200 than 280 bhp and the car was always fully serviced and maintained to a high standard
