TVRCC East Mids Meet Newark Air Museum Sunday 9th Aug

It's the East Mids monthly meeting next Sunday at the Newark Air Museum, Winthorpe, Notts.
The Air Museum is next to Newark Showground. Post code for sat nav is NG24 2NY. Details can be found here:

We went to this venue last year and had a great day out. They allowed us to park in the museum grounds and at the end of the day move our cars to take photos next to the aircraft. You can see pictures from last year here.

We should be gathering from around midday (although the museum is open from 10am if you want to get there earlier) and hopefully like last time we should get a small reduction on normal admission prices (probably best to bring TVRCC membership cards). I'll try to confirm this before the weekend.
If you've not been to a meeting before please come along. As always, everyone is welcome.

I've now talked to Air Museum about arrangements regarding this Sunday. Here are the details:
Price : £6.25 per car including all occupants. This is their (now) standard car club rate and if you have more than one person in your car is a great deal.
On arrival: Please park in the normal public car park and go into the entrance shop and say you're a TVRCC member. They will take your money and give you a pass for your car. You will then be allowed to move your car (at a safe slow speed) through the gates to the main museum display area.
Time: I've said we'll arrive from around 12 midday. If as many as possible can arrive by this time then we can all enter together which will help out the museum. If you arrive later than that it will be fine but you may have to wait a while until a member of staff is available to let you through the gates.
