Great run in, thanks Chas! I reckon Chimjunkie will be a bit sorry he missed not being at the front for a change wink Great to see all of the usual suspects as well as meet some new, as always in the world of TVR, great people.

Perfect day for a run

Well done Shabs and Chas for getting a run-in organised! Yes I did miss feel i was missing out, but had a great day at Donnington supporting the Lotus challenge. Some top driving. Has to be one of the most exciting race series to support. Just need to start going to TVR racing events!!

Glad the weather was good for you! Hope to be around for the next one. But not necessarily leading wink

Hi All,

Glad you all enjoyed it; we had a good fast outward drive but met a bit of traffic the homeward stretch the worst of which was being stuck behind two Riley 1.5 pathfinders of around 1949 vintage travelling at 40 mph. Dave my navigator was anxious to wave them down to make sure they were fully conversant with the government scrappage scheme.

Many thanks to Dave for keeping us on track only one minor variation from the plan which I don't think anybody noticed and an over enthusiastic left turn from me resulting in 3 point turns for all of us.

I am happy to do it again and make some improvements for next time. What do you think about:
1)starting earlier say 8:00
2)including more dual carriageway sections.

If Shabs will send me the website details I will set up the route on the Tom Tom.

I'll post some photos later this week when I can get them off Dave's camera.

Thanks for your support
Chas
