Just trying to gauge some interest here, but i am thinking of organising a group of TVR's to have a day up Santa Pod on one of their 'Run what you Brung' days. I believe they are £25 for as many runs as you like and a £10 entry to the track. I was hoping to go around October / November time this year. It might even be possible to get a convoy going to and from there as well wink

Your thoughts please . . .

Hi
I organised a little get together at York but picked the busiest day of the calendar apparently so people only got a few runs.
I only had about 10 people confirm but 24 cars turned up on the day and 17 ran on the strip.

Im at every meeting at York and will be at Shakey on the 6th Sept.
Im up for a trip to the pod if it doesnt clash with York.

She doesn't normally. But I think the Lotus will be having a few more upgrades soon. The 2.0 Turbo can be tuned to 430bhp no bother in a 980kg car eek I'm thinking supercharger on me 500 now. Bugger, just as my clutch is on it's way out. That means I'm out for a drag race. But dont mind an egg and spoon race in drag. Charity style smile

There was a bit of chat about doing this on the cerb forum a week or so ago, seemed to be some interest there, also said October.

Sounds good, i'll go!!

OK!

I had a look on the calendar at santa pod and trying to time around other TVR gatherings etc and the RWYB date will be:

Sunday 1st November

I don't think that clashes with anything but if it does could someone please let me know and i will change the date if possible.

The gates open at 8:00am and is £10 entry with free grandstands, and an extra £25 for as many runs as you like up until 8:00pm, so if you don't fancy running your car you are welcome to come and watch!

If you want to run your car you MUST bring your driving license

If there are any others planning to come from the South (Herts) then i might get a little drive down sorted out aswell.

All information is here:

http://www.santapod.co.uk/index.php

I hope to see plenty of you down there! thumbup

Quick question aswell to anyone in the know, but what should i be aiming for time wise in a pretty much standard Chim 400 (220bhp)

High 13 at over 100 would be to aim for.
Get a pair of R888s with about 14psi for the rear.
