Mid Essex Meet Sunday 8th November

Hi Everyone,

This coming Sunday is the second Sunday of the month which means another Mid Essex meet and another Mid Essex convoy from the White Hart.

Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 11:30, and if you're joining the Southend pose pre meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front by the yacht park (between Maplin Way Thorpe Hall Avenue) and between for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 (or thereabouts).

How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,

The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

I am in need of a convoy leader....Shawn has done a magnificent job over the last couple of years but works stops play and he rarely can make a Meet. My thanks to Shawn for all his excellent leadership re the convoy.


Someone to meet and greet at the White Hart and ensure a safe passage to the Forresters.

Is there anyone who regularly attends the Mid Essex Meet who feels they would like to take on the Red Leader role?

Ok, ok, Pauline, I hate to see a grown woman cry!!!!!

I'll be at Thorpe Bay, as usual 10:15 - 10:45 for the usual southend suspects, and will lead convoy from the White Hart to Forresters.

I am hoping Chim won't let me down, as i've had a bit of bother over the last couple of weeks, should there be any problems, i will post nearer the time!

If anyone fancies it (Shawn / Del???) Brekkie at Mario's 09:15ish opposite the Crazy golf, Saaaffend Sea Front?

It's such an important role at Mid Essex so I would be dead chuffed if you are happy to do it every month!

I Would consider it Pauline, but as you know i have a lot of home commitments, i am willing to help out time to time.

like i said earlier, i would help out as much as i can this weekend, and any future events, but as you know, i have lots of other things going on at home.
