With thanks to a bold team of submariners who joined me for the test run this morning, the directions and itinerary file are now complete, and have been sent to all people for whom i have a valid e mail address. Please check your junk folder, as i use a hotmail account.

To avoid unwelcome attention, please keep all details off public fora.

I don't think you will be disappointed with the route, fingers crossed for fine weather.

Only one week to go, see you there bounce

Glyn.
Plug your tomtom into your PC via the USB lead provided.

Open windows explorer.

Go into the TomTom via windows explorer (not my tomtom program)

Copy the .itn file as sent by Blues.

Paste into .ITN files on the TomTom

Easy peasy wink

Hi all,

Excuse my stupidity, but how do you go into the tomtom via explorer? Also do you have to paste them into a particular file?

Cheers,
Dan

Dan - with your TT plugged into PC via USB you should be able to see the TT as a drive, similar to when you have a CD in the D: drive, or an external hard drive etc.

Assuming you can, click on it, and you should see a load of folders. The name of the folder that you need to copy the .ITN file into seems to vary depending on the TT, but there should be one marked as UK maps or GB or similar. Not got mine to hand to check.
