Now you mention it, yeah I think it does go into the ITN folder, I was thinking about when I copy in my scamera POI's. Copy it into that folder, you should then be able to view the TiTT itinery on the TT.

Ok,
I've resent the files all "missing details" e mails that i have received.
...including those who were cheeky enough to say they hadn't received anything even though they had not previously contacted me wink

Obviously something not quite right with hotmail - sorry for any panic caused.

Fingers crossed for good weather and a great turnout thumbup

I've copied the file to my .itn folder

How do you access it through the TT ?

The problem I've got at the moment is that my TomTom One does not seem to have have itinery capability, or at least not in its from the box configuration.

I've spent the last hour adding about a dozen new favorites to map out the route and RV's.

There should be an itinery option in the normal menu icons. From memory you should be able to view it, just a list of way points, but obviously doesnt come into its own until you use it on the day.

Blues - second attempt received. Thanks.

Just been faffing with various files for about the last hour. If your tomtom doesnt have the itinary option in the main menu (when you tap the screen to navitgate etc) then it does have the capabilty frown

Will have to just add locations as favourites. Cheers for your help LaserTam.

I've looked it up and now realise that i've got a TT One v3 which doesn't have the itinerary function.

There is a way to unlock this menu on the 'pocketgpsworld.com' site

If it doesn't work, i'll just stick to following Tivs smile

Let us lowly tomtom one V3 users know if you get anywhere. wink Although even if you change the menu, it still might not work as it is different software, and will need resetting if it crashes.

If you have a newer tomtom one they removed the support for itn files there is a way of a backwards upgrade so long as you have not updated your software past version 8

This is all from memory so hopefully somebody with a little more knowledge can confirm

in the meantime there is a neat little bit of software here that converts itn files into poi files that are supported

Thanks to Blues for all the hard work that has gone into not organising this.;)

I managed to change get the 'itinerary' menu to show following these instructions:

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=For...

but i couldn't access the route, and the TT kept crashing. I'll have to borrow a proper TomTom instead unless anyone can come up with anything.

Oh, don't forget to back-up your TomTom before messing with it

Thanks David
Received the file clap.
Finally got the TT to work. This may help, apologies if not.
I've got a recent TT XL IQ. I dropped the file into the ITN folder but have struggled to access it on the TT. I could see the file was there but wasn't sure how to load the itinerary.
Go to itinerary planning on the TT.
Press options in bottom LH corner. Then press Load Itinerary
(This then showed the TiTT file) press find and it says first destination is 42 Ace Cafe and navigate there now and hopefully Bob's your relative!biggrin
Here's hoping for moderate dryness on Sunday!!
