My worst is Sean Connery. I can't watch anything with him in it.
"McLeod, you have no mannersh and ye schmell like a dung heap and ye complain endlesshly. And ye've no knowledgsh whatshoever of yir patential!"
Highlander didn't have any Lithuanians in it IIRC confused

Anyhow, Cruise never, ever strikes me as anything other than "I know people, right!" A walking piece of 1x2 with a copy of Dianetics and a Men's Health subscription confirmation nailed to it.
A mediocre film, but Cruise was excellent in Tropic Thunder.

I thought he was also very good in Born on the 4th of July

Nicholas Cage for me. Any film he is in is ruined by his presence.

You won't have seen "The Man With Two Brains" (1983) then. A bravura performance in an excellent film.
Try Bowfinger, I think it's brilliant

Not being deliberately controversial but...and I don't know how to break it to the critics...but....well....Daniel Day Lewis cannot act to save his fking life.

Oh he can chew up the scenery, ham it up like Pork Farms and shout and scream but he cannot remotely act

It's like watching some Sixth form drama student.

The Emperors New Clothes have never been so well worn, or for so long.

Tom Cruise and a lot of other names shouldn't even be mentioned in this thread.

Shia LaBeouf is a good shout. Incredibly st and irritating in a st film (Transformers), he sounds like a as well.
