Amazon are currently offering a £15 voucher for a free trial sign-up.

What are the pitfalls?

Does a whole TV series count as one film choice?

Each DVD counts as one choice, so if a box set is 24 episodes on 6 discs, then they send them individually.

The downside for me is there's not much available for online streaming. I think I pay about 12 quid a month. Compare that to my Netflix at under a fiver a month, and the streaming content and back catalogue is way ahead.

Netflix isn't available in the UK though?

Been using it on the el cheapo £4/month package for a year or so now - I only get 2 DVDs per month which is plenty as it takes me around 2 weeks to get around to watching it!

Only issue is I'm now running out of films to request....which no doubt happens to everyone sooner or later.

On the £4 a month deal too, but I think it is £5 or £6 now? Two a month is plenty for me too. I really like the service, works well and very convenient. Only had two problems, a skipping disc- I reported disc as faulty and they offered a new one. Second, one went missing in the post and they just got me to sign a form.

Not officially. Works perfectly well through a cheap VPN though.

Don't you have to have a US address? I'm very tempted by this.
