Decent enough action movie, but the final bit really annoys me. After all the death and mayhem she is running around holding her bathrobe over her. After all that I wouldn't care who saw me naked! I realize that they have to reach classifications to sell, but but they must have been able to do a better job than that with camera angles.

That was the bit that annoyed you?

To be fair it is the a lot more like the games than the other films. They just needed to throw a few stupid puzzles into the mix.

Well, yes. I only expected a "park your brain and enjoy" movie. And it was a good one. Right up until the last bit where suddenly someone who has been naked quite a bit suddenly becomes a prude. It yanked me right out of the "suspension of disbelief" thang.

What ive always disliked is how none of the films, Degeneration included, ever captured the feel of the games. It should be about a slow creeping sense of dread, such as hearing something around the corner and not knowing if you have enough ammo to kill it. None of this ridiculous slo mo Super Alice crap

I know - I think the only film that has come close to its video game origins is Silent Hill. RE Apocalypse is kinda like the RE 2 game - slightly...

Having said that, I still love these films - I know I shouldn't, but I do....

I actually though Mortal Kombat captured the feel of the game pretty well despite the lack of gore. Its a real guilty pleasure of mine.

The only genuinely good vg adaptation remains the animated Street Fighter II movie

I was a big fan of the Silent Hill games, and IMO they did a very good job translating it to film. Genuinely disturbing stuff.
Alice does seem to have become superhuman in her ability to get out of ANY situation..
