Dexter - Season 5

I for one have been seriously looking forward to this after the epic ending of season 4. This has a lot to live upto - and from Americas reaction it's sounding good!

Can't wait!

Annoyingly i'll miss it as I start work at 2230 but have it on planner!

Was a pretty good series. I currently rate the series as:

1<2<4<5<3

I beleive 4 and 5 are the best I have seen. Won't say much but the supporting actor is pretty flipping fabulous in season 5. Maybe not award winning like John Lithgow (Still shudders at certain images) but fabulous all the same.

Brilliant series, 1st episode is understandably a bit slow, very quickly gets good, Julia Stiles is a bonus too

I really recommend breaking bad if you haven't already seen it.
It's at least as good as Dexter, imo.

It had both good and bad aspects.

The writers fell into their usual trap of not being able to make Dexter too unsympathetic to the audience. When he stepped into the bathroom he had already decided to kill the redneck, for merely being annoying, but the writers added the laughable insult to keep Dexter from being 'too dark' a character.

Agreed. Should have just had him kill the guy and it would have has more impact.

Pretty inevitable after the ending of series 4 but for the first time in 5 serieses I am not actually eagerly awaiting the next one.

Is anyone actually enjoying this one?

Dexter has been one of my favourite ever series, but 2 episodes into this one and I have barely the energy to watch it any further.
So far its just been 2 hours of
