I didn't think it was the best decision, especially after being sick chasing a youth into the woods earlier in the day. Thought he would of gone for some pasta or something healthier than a kebab lol

Not a dig at religion. Imagine sitting at home tuning into that to see your car ragged by some little dick, who isn't caught because the policeman was abit peckish. I wouldn't be overly happy. Lucky the passenger grassed him in. If your not able to do the job you shouldn't be doing it. Take unpaid leave or holidays over Ramadan.

Felt sorry for the young copper who got his head kicked.
Not one person helped after how long? 20 mins of struggling? What was he trying to do, put cuffs on one? Might have helped the copper to lay into them with his baton.

I have to say that the Pakistani copper was silly. Why on earth was he fasting and then working at the same tie, He is old enough to know it will affect his ability to do the job properly.
What if he had to chase a murder suspect or something, and had to let him get away due to the fact he was not fit for the job in hand.
I am not against Muslim cops, I am not against religion, but have some fking sense. You can’t eat during daylight so work a night shift.
I fast, but I also make sure it will not impact my job, if I will be in a position where fasting will have a detrimental effect on my day I will choose not to fast for that particular day.
He then goes on to have a kebab, on an empty stomach, I am not gong to comment on that, it’s not worth it.

As for the drunk driver, did I hear correctly that he had been done for drink driving 4 times before, if that’s the case he will do it again, just lock hi up and throw away the key, but give hi a good hiding before hand for being such a rude ignorant .

Also I found that this was more of a cops on the beat type of show as opposed to an all out traffic cops type show.

If someone thinks they can do their duty without eating or drinking, and when it's proven they can't, then what does that say for their overall judgement? How can they be expected to make sensible decisions when they can't even look after themselves?

As for the taxi driver standing watching, at first I thought WTF, why aren't you helping? Then I thought, would I help? Answer, probably not in that case. The officer didn't appear to be getting any sort of beating in the footage I saw so there's no way I'd risk prison to help him out. Because unless you're stupid then there's only one course of action, which is get in there and knock out the other gang members before they have a chance to realise what's going on. Anybody who thinks its a good idea to try and tussle with people like that or 'make a citizen's arrest' is an idiot and on the way to getting stabbed to death.

Unbelievable. Shouldn't be doing the job during days during Ramadan. Ludicrous.

I've written on here before about this, I stopped a little old man getting a beating off a chav.

It was me who spent the night in the cells not the chav, I'll never help again.

What the deuce?

That's ludicrous. What was the reasoning behind that decision? Good on you for helping the old man.

In the process of holding the chav down I scraped my knuckles on the floor, they claimed I punched them. The copper had an accusation of assault and my hand and put 2+3 together despite all the witnesses saying it was balls.

Yes. he was disgusting, trying to get around it by pretending not to understand as well. Very deserving of a push down the stairs.

Yip, go in and try and wallop them before they know what is happening. Cutting loose on a chav to help a cop, and then scarpper once the good deed is donebiggrin

My mate once stopped some feral youths from hassling an old geezer crossing a busy carriageway. He got the st kicked out of him for his pleasure, suffered concussion, ended up in a bed for a hospital bed for a few days. he is the type to go up to these types and pull them off in a 'now now lads' manner...I would never do that, best to go for hooks and eyepokes straight from the getgo methinks.

Going back to the programme, sorry to say but whatsisface Ramacop is pretty incompetent if you ask me. Suspicion of the bike rider DD in the service station, and also smoking on his bike on the forecourt? So what does he do - let him go?! FFS!

A quick word to put the cigarette out would give him a chance to assess the state of the rider wrt alcohol, and saved all those precious resources on the wild goose chase.

Unfortunately that's what you need to do, and that's why it would always be you (the person who intervenes) getting banged up and the chavs would be let go. I've seen several occurrences of well-intentioned people stepping up to sort out a situation, expecting the culprits to be as civilised as they are, or at least to respect the Queensbury rules, and getting pasted for their troubles as they're arguing the toss (in almost all cases by someone else coming up from behind). Especially now that the scum often carry a weapon, if you're not prepared to hit from behind and pop eyes and punch throats (and do the associated prison time) then it's best to just phone the police and walk on by.

"Then I realised if I went for the leg shot and missed I would've hit Craig".
So when it comes to Tazer training, do they cover the idea of not standing either side of the target?
Car54, where are you? laugh
