Currently on iPlayer having been broadcast recently on Radio 4 Extra.
I would highly recommend it as a scary listen - and extremely perceptive about the effects of immersive virtual reality on parent/children relationships. Especially so considering it was written in 1951.
It was pretty faithfull to the original story. What was amazing was his awareness of where technology was going. We are already seeing the effects of parental abandonment and computer addiction on some children and this is essentially what this story is about.
