It's still awesome though is it not? I mean, I still watch Star Wars and think it's incredible FX... TBH these days I think "oh, more CGI"......

Still, if they can keep to the original but just improve the FX that will be quite good.

It still feels modern when seen in HD, the only thing that lets it down now is Ed-209's animation really.

Films of that genre in the 80s tended to be a lot more brutal. I am guessing there will be action in these remakes but it will be limp wristed in comparison...Robocop is very brutal
