I so rarely go to the cinema, but I have lovefilm so watch a couple of films a week, because there's such a steady stream I turn off a lot of bad films early on, my 'half star' list from lovefilm:

Takers - toss story, toss cast, toss.

The Expendables - too ott to be believable, but the characters aren't likeable enough to get past it ala Bad Boys, it's just thugs, doing thugs things.

Jonah Hex - can't remember anything about it, other than it last about 20 mins before I turned it off.

Black Dynamite - tried to hard to be retro and the production mistakes, that aren't mistakes, make it unwatchable for me.

The Other Guys - not funny.

The Losers - Cut price Expendables, might be slightly better.

Armoured - Boring

The Infidel - Obvious, cheaply made, not funny or heart warming.

Universal Solders - regenerated. Made for about 20p, looks like a SyFy film, Dolf Lungren 'regenerated' it seems from a pile of pulp - he was fed into a wood chipper at the end of the first one.

Edison - Morgan Freeman, what were you thinking!

Year One - Jack Black cannot lead a film, better in very small doses, his screen time was about right in Wall Street 2.

Observe and Report - A cut price 'Mall Cop' which was also st.

The biggest turd by a long shot though was 88 Minutes with Shouty old Al Pacio, this film is SUCH a turd it wasn't released for 3 years, they made it, paid Al Pacio whatever he costs these days, edited it and the end result was so bad, they decided that it wasn't fit for 'straight to DVD' until the financial crash made them look to grab some money from it for those of us unlucky enough to watch it.

Second place goes to Bad Lieutenant 2, New Orleans or whatever it's called, as if Katrina wasn't bad enough on them. It has nothing to do with the original at all, the screen writer and director both admit they'd never seen the original, but the makers, knowing it was total st added the tile to try to sell it.
