GF hates dinosaur films, they scare her. So what film might I surprise her with - I'm not aware of much other than the JP films. Cloverfield type flicks might count, we enjoyed that together. Any suggestions? Not that JP was scary, but... The scarier the better. Anything to put a bit of mustard up her bum when we sit down to watch it smile ?

If Jurassic park was scary (which it was for her) how would Godzilla compare?

She's scared of something that stopped existing millions of years ago?

On the scale of incontinence,

Jurassic Park - A medium poo.

Godzilla - A little wee.

A vast amount of "scary" films are about things that don't exist at all...

Is there anything which bears slight resemblance to dino fear, which might equate to a medium poo or slight plop from a drop, even if the creature is more alien than dinosaur. Speaking of aliens, I'm guessing it's the size of dinosaurs which scare her. Not sure what to get tbh!

A good question, perhaps it's the fear of the unknown, and the fact humans are the hunted.

What about King Kong? The Jack Black one, plenty of dinosaurs on the island and people getting eaten by ginormous slug type creatures and very scary natives to boot! biggrin

Its not the dinosaur, it is the kids that are scary in that one!

Actually, it is strange that no one has, to the best of my knowledge, actually made a full on horror film about dinosaurs. I don't mean a 12a flick with a bit of blood, I mean something along the lines of Alien of The Descent

How about a film of the comic strip "Flesh"? Pre-dates Jurrasic Park by almost 20 years.
