I have Sky+
I have phone and broadband from TalkTalk

What benefits are there to moving it all over to Virgin for Tivo?

Has anyone done it?

The TiVo box is really good. It's good now, and the plans in the pipeline for turning it into a home media platform are really going to improve the home viewing activity.

VM cable broadband is great, even the best DSL can't compete meaningfully, but newer BT based offerings of FTTC will challenge that in some areas. As with many products, you need to go to the highest tier of service for the best product (there are no hard usage caps on VM, but there is traffic management on lower tiers which to some people amounts to the same thing)

Phone on VM isn't anything special IMO, although if you can get calls bundled in for free it's OK. Also calls to Virgin mobiles are free as well, and calls from Virgin mobile to Virgin landline aren't charged.

As a soon to be ex VM employee, I could be slightly biased though. I haven't gone for TiVo as I don't need it (I haven't even got a V+) but I can see the opportunities it brings, and the fact that it allows for things like dedicated 10Mb service (without traffic management) for YouTube, and uses the VM VoD platform for iPlayer, and has an integrated VoD / Linear EPG are all points that the Sky+ box just cannot compete with. If you want true VoD, then cable is the only way to go.

If you know someone who works for VM (a rapidly decreasing pool of people, it has to be said) then ask them to refer you for Mates Rates, and you get a massive discount on the full package. If I was not leaving in a week I would be happy to refer you, but I am, sorry about that.

Knowsley. Not shutting down, but my function is being moved to HQ or B'ham. I didn't want to move!
