The extra 'dimension' being smell-o-vision apparently. Just saw an advert for Spy Kids 4D, I honestly don't know if it was genuine or a joke.

I didn't think that through to well did I.

This was tried many years ago, though think it was more a piping of different aromas around the cinema. Nothing too technical I would imagine. Smell-aroma, or something like that!

4D in the Cinema at RingWerk (Nurburgring).. Its a film about the 24hr race, as the cars come past you at the track a big fan blows air across the audience so it feels like you're there.. When they shake and spray the champagne they spray water out at you, when the car comes right at you they have big bright lights they shine on.. Very cool.

No smell-o-vision though!
