Concrete Circus Ch4
Discussion
Rare for me to really enjoy a TV programme anymore, but that was fantastic, the Scottish guy was the best for me, climbing those concrete blocks and riding across the rope took my breath away, the asian guy went a bit over the top with the dust effects, way to artsy for me.
Still a fantastic show. Top marks!

The skater wasn't all that to be honest.
Rodney Mullen was doing that stuff ten years ago, and better too. The flatlander was decent, but not really anything above and beyond the other decent flatlanders out there. the free running thing was a bit odd, the black guy was incredible, the others were a bit meh ( I know one of them, he works as a stuntman) but Danny Mcaskill is just head and shoulders better than anyone else I've seen in trials.

I found myself saying that, the multi board work was new...but not exactly hard, Mullen has been doing the side board slides for years, very surprised he didn't get a mention....especially from his old 'team mate' Mike Vallely.Rodney Mullen was doing that stuff ten years ago, and better too.
Thought all the 'new' videos were a bit too arty...except Dannys
I just want to see the moves not a close up of a spinning wheel.
Keelan Phillips (the flatland BMX rider) original video was so much better, and a real shame to hear about his friend and director of that video.
Was brilliant! Even the wife sat down and watched it after 5 mins. The skills these lads have is shocking!
I'm have never been into skateboarding, was always downhilling but that Spanish lad made it look almost poetic.
All of them though, each video had me looking amazed at what the could do.

pretty incredible programme tbh! lots of stuff i hadnt seen before and some stuff i didnt think was possible!
again, Danny mcKaskill was head and shoulders above the rest.
the parkour guys show no fear and are amazing street gymnasts! i think the setting fire to themselves was a bit OTT.
the skateboarder made the moves so fluid it was very impressive.
the bmx guy was clearly talented but flatland has always left me a bit cold.

Wonderful to see this kind of thing on TV.
I have long admired the whole bmx/skateboarding scene - I don't know masses about it but I find it beautiful and hypnotic.
The flatland rider was excellent but a tad one-dimensional - I've seen more varied displays from pioneering riders in the States, I'm thinking the period from Kevin Jones onwards.
The skateboarder was supremely talented and fluid, even if some of what he was doing has been done before.
The trails bike rider was simply awesome. Incredible skills and the video for me was the best too - beautiful, upbeat, natural and respectful.
As I said, wonderful to see.
