hehe It's so cruel when they get them to talk about how they're going to spend the money before they win.

But one of us was right and he's not £1m richer.

"it's just chance isn't it?" - He says that when he loses, but before he had skill in picking the numbers?

He's not firing arrows?

And he seemed like a nice enough chap, I was hoping he would win, after all, he was going to spend some of the money wisely, on a Ferrari.......

I was in the crowd at one of the wembley arena days which was filmed back in June.
My excuse for this is that my mate was one of the contestants.
The day dragged on a bit, getting told when to cheer and act like a tit etc.
Ant & dec appeared for about 10 mins during the course of the day, and didn't interact with the crowd at all (some folk were wanting signatures, pics etc).
I did however get to see Jedward roll about in "hamster balls" and one of them kidd on he was injured at the end (if only).
Then it was 2 blokes hurdling on top of some painted mondeos, which I feel was rigged to make it look like a close contest!
My mate made it to the last 32 of his "lot" when his luck ran out.
It was amazing how many people took it so seriously, when they lost they were asked not to leave the arena but half of them threw the toys out the pram and legged it!

The losing colour were asked to stay seated for filming, suppose it wouldn't look great on camera folk flooding out the second they knew they had lost.
I would probably have left too as the whole thing dragged on, took about 8 hours.

Just about, 2 hours queuing to get in while they registered the contestants, then went in to the arena and had a £4 burger and £3 drink.
Then they had to set up the arena for the 1st event (Jedward) then after that they had to rig up a drag strip for the hurdling on cars.
After that had passed we all had to go outside and film the fortune cookie bit.
The winning folk then had to go sit on the black and red bus to get their picture took, interviewed and arrangements for the next set of games, which was in Newcastle the following week.
We left Wembley at 6.30pm and made it to Standstead airport at 8.20pm, traffic was horrendous!
Our gate closed at 8pm but fortunately thr nice folk at Easyjet let us on as we only had hand luggage.

I watched the first show, in between ranting how awful it was, never again.

Now i believe there's talk about stripping the first winner's prize because of a criminal record. Never understand this rabid desire to strip ex-cons of new winnings after time served.

Completely agree, he's served his time, so shouldn't continue to be punished. Typical British mentality though, we love to look down on everyone from our Ivory Towers.

Saw this for the first time last night, 1) it's dreadful and 2) felt quite sad for the bloke at the end, he seemed a decent enough fella.
