Joss has always said himself if a TV/movie company was willing t stump up the cash he would return to the Firefly universe "In a heart beat"

I so hope that it happens eventually

The Unit.

Don't remake it just bring it back as it was only cancelled last year or so.

Fantastic series but Season 4 was sadly the last.

It was, but why, ph why, did we have to have the wives involved? The interfering, busybody wives, who blundered about, making life difficult. And the chief soldier fellow... His wife. Bloody hell. She just had to know everything, and she was sooooooo importNt, and fking nosy. Keep your annoying face out of my show, biatch.

Miami Vice, as long as its better then the film (and keeps the tone of the first 3 series). I could see the new Crocket driving a Ferrari California.

CHiPs - my love of aviators and slight "man crush" on Jon worried my parents. I even had a ChiPs badge and gun set.

Miami Vice - as mentioned above, as long as it's like the series not the movie

Greatest American Hero - don't think you got that in the UK, used to love it as a kid. Regular guy finds superhero suit, puts it on and has superhero powers! Every kids dream.

MacGyver - Used to try and make that st at home, blew up a few things but nothing to successful.

But isn't 'Burn Notice' the new 'Miami Vice'? .. but with better clothes and women (or men if you're a woman)!

Hawaii 5-0 should tell you all you need to know about remakes.
Even "Knight Rider" was better and that was dropped after the first series.
Modern audiences are far less gullible and accepting of utter tosh (Red and Black excepted).

Didn't they try to bring back Superstars a few years ago?

What about a decent (i.e. NOT Red & Black or whatever the fk it is) Saturday nigh gameshow along the lines of 3-2-1.

Vegas (The one with Dan Tanner)
Manimal
Airwolf (or Blue Thunder if funds are tight biggrin)
The Adventure Game (gronda gronda)

That was the first show that came to my mind too.

I also seem to remember a game show from the late 80's or early 90's on a saturday evening, it was teams of blokes doing army type challenges, such as driving Defenders through forests with obstacles and attacking castles, anyone know what Im talking about?

You mean there is stuff left that hasn't been remade? confused

Seems almost every film at the cinema these days is either a remake, a sequel or an adaptation of a book or comic.

TV shows seem to be little better.

The late, late breakfast show.

The Michael Lush(?) accident apart, it was a great programme. (Or do I just have rose tinted specs on?)
