I used to love that.

Pretty sure it's already been remade though - as 'The Crystal Maze'. smile

Not really a remake, but I wish someone would start series 2 of firefly frown
+23.5
Joss has always said himself if a TV/movie company was willing t stump up the cash he would return to the Firefly universe "In a heart beat"

I so hope that it happens eventually
Problem would be getting the original cast back, what with the success they've gone onto (Fillion especially).

And Wash is dead now...so that's a bummer too.

I liked the remake of Hawaii 5-0, its not complicated, its easy entertainment. Plus anything that gets Grace Park more air time is good with me.

The Unit was excellent as well, I always thought of it as a reboot of the A-Team crossed with a bit of Desperate Housewives. The women did annoy me and I confess I did imagine Snake Doctor slotting his wife quite often!

Wasnt one of the people from the Unit in Firefly? Summer Glau? For a few episodes anyway.

Unless he was only "mostly dead" and they got a pill from Miracle Max and... um... well, I dunno. He *might* have survived being impaled by a huge harpoon. biggrin

He wont, I think you will find he got killed because Joss Weedon hated the actor, or so I read. Apparently the actor was very annoying to work with and thought he was amazing, so he got killed!

But isn't 'Burn Notice' the new 'Miami Vice'? .. but with better clothes and women (or men if you're a woman)!
Yes it is set in Miami but it is more an A Team meets Our Man Flint. Love it! smile

I reckon Fillian would be back in a heartbeat, especially if the rest returned.

I don't think I've ever seen a remake I liked. All of the remakes you see coming out of America today seem to follow a formula. Hawaii Five-O being a good example. I used to love that show as a kid, but the only things the new Hawaii Five-O has in common with the original are the theme tune and location.

Greatest American Hero - don't think you got that in the UK, used to love it as a kid. Regular guy finds superhero suit, puts it on and has superhero powers! Every kids dream.
We did have this in the UK, it was on shown on Saturday mornings. I can still remember the words to the theme tune.

Seconded. What about that thing where people raced rally cars against the clock up a dirt road on some mountain in the UK somewhere? It was a it like a mini Pike's Peak. There was also a version with motocross bikes.

Actually, now I come to think about it - I think that was just something that came on Grandstand a few times. paperbag
