Total Wipeout.
Discussion
As in the TV programme. Funny isnt it? I laugh, a lot, and express how easily I could complete each obstacle compared to each contestant, while pointing at the TV, and laughing.
Well. My bluff was called
I sent in my application earlier this year, and didnt hear anything back....until last month. [Stuff happened], I have an Audition on Sunday. I have to 'dress to express my personality', and have 1 minute to talk about myself in front of the production team and then they will decide whether I progress or not from there. For a taster- this is my hat for the day-
So, I shall blog my journey, which may well end first thing tomorrow, or end on the Wipeout course in Argentina, who knows! Bit of entertainment for you all anyway
Wish me luck....

I LOVE Total Wipeout, the winter one looks bonkers!
I got as far as sending in an application once, had a letter back months later asking if I was still interested but had to decline on health grounds.
I'd loved to have a go at the course, it's the 'acting an arse to the camera' bit I'd struggle with - seriously camera shy.

This programme half irritates me, and half entertains me. The American version is brutal..
If it helps (amuses), i'm 6'6" tall, and 12 stone. Long and thin.
Someone at work told me i'd look like someone "had screwed up and octopus and thrown it in the water" after id attempted (failed) the big red balls lol.
Theyre also sponsoring me for charity, if I make it across the red balls. The further across I get the more £ they give.

OK stupid question, i assume you have to sign a disclaimer before they let you on to the show? Some of those obsticles seem to have gone from "haha funny slip and you land in some water" to genuine potentially bone/back breakers ???
That's why it's filmed in Argentina! DaveL485 said:
