If it helps (amuses), i'm 6'6" tall, and 12 stone. Long and thin.

Someone at work told me i'd look like someone "had screwed up and octopus and thrown it in the water" after id attempted (failed) the big red balls lol.
Theyre also sponsoring me for charity, if I make it across the red balls. The further across I get the more £ they give.
Why not set up a just giving page? £10 per red ball wink

OK stupid question, i assume you have to sign a disclaimer before they let you on to the show? Some of those obsticles seem to have gone from "haha funny slip and you land in some water" to genuine potentially bone/back breakers ???
After seeing some of the USA versions, this is exactly what I thought. The UK courses have so far been a bit tamer.

You either do it for fun, or to try and win the money.

With the USA version, it doesn't look like fun, it looks like exercise to exhaustion for masochists. Taking that into account, it's a bit of a lottery as to whether you win or not, and I don't think the payoff is enough for the abuse to get it and the chances of getting it.

The UK one looks a lot more fun, with at least an element of skill. The pay off may be lower, but it is more of a skill game, so I'm be inclined to train and have a go.

Good luck to ya fella. Looking forward to watching it...

There is a MASSIVE difference between the US and UK versions. As said elsewhere, the US version is much tougher and, indeed, pretty brutal. Contestants really take some hits.

The US version had a much cuter girlie compere too in Jill Wagner... smile

I think you need to get the phrase "Powerfully Built" into whatever intro you do for yourself if you make it through to the TV show itself.

Good Luck!!
GREAT idea.

Dom Joly broke his foot in 5 places on the latest Celebrity edition. It was either a Wail link or a Mirror link. I chose the Mirror

get there early, i have had an audition and they only have limited places to go to the next round if you are one of the last ones then chances are the place have been taken, and it is like a fancy dress party.

I have an Audition on Sunday. I have to 'dress to express my personality', and have 1 minute to talk about myself in front of the production team and then they will decide whether I progress or not from there.
No mention of a health check? Glad to see they have their priorities sorted.
