What an overrated, unfunny fat tt of a man he is.

And one of the laziest people in show business, only turns up on the telly when he's got another crap book to sell at Sun readers as Christmas presents.

Tosser.

I'll admit I enjoyed Phoenix Nights, but everything else since then has not been my cup of tea.

That audience must be pissed and/or sycophants, they're laughing at everything he says...

Far more interesting was Fry.

Anybody else notice?

Act is a bit northern for my tastes but he's about as close to a naturally funny bloke as is possible IMO.

I went to see him at the Cambridge Corn Exchange with some work colleagues.

Very disappointing. Not particularly funny really.

The three blokes I was with kept kinda turning to look if the other person was laughing. That's a sign of forced laughing.
Also he had a really bad audience set up.

Crud.

And what the feck was all that tosh when he did a spoof of Dancing On Ice/X Factor/Come dance st. Not funny.

Phoenix Nights was great, but not just because of Brian Potter or Max.

Can't stand Peter Kay in anything else.

I don't rate Phoenix Nights. His stand up DVDs have been OK but massively overrated.

The X-Factor spoof he did was superb (Britain's Got The Pop Factor?). One of the funniest thing I've seen in years.

And the past.

Phoenix Nights was sublime, one of the best sitcoms the has been. Pete himself owns every show he appears on, made that Giles fella look like a chump on the One SHowbiggrin Anyone who has him on should know this or they are incompetent. He does do the same act for years though. He was top of the tower 10 years ago, but his new stuff leaves me a bit flat. I though the reality show spoof was fair, a bit strained.

Cant believe you lot ! Phoenix Nights was IMHO a laugh out loud show, anyone not remember the scene of Brian Potter taking his girlfriend up the stairs with him sat on his stair lift leading her by the hand ? Or the kiddies play bouncy castle that was a giant penis tied down with string and a tarpaulin which broke loose??...........tumbleweed or just me ?

No, all that was very funny and clever.biggrin

I thought Max and Paddy was a massive comedown, too obvious and had to rely on McGuinness who is utter ste at acting.
