Saw the trailer for this last night on the big screen while watching something else. While I must admit to being a bit dubious when this was first announced, the trailer has got me a tinsy bit excited. This could go one of two ways I reckon. It's either going to be epic or a huge mess.

Empire Magazine tweeted after the Hollywood premiere that it was absolutely amazing, they couldn't say more until the embargo is lifted on the 20th.

Similarly, just read a piece in the Guardian along the same lines: http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmblog/2012/apr/1...

What has now got me excited is the fact that, and I quote, "Hulk stole the show."

Along with Spiderman, Hulk is my favourite Superhero so this is great news for me.

BTW, sorry Murray - couldn't resist.

Chum of mine saw it last night (in the industry) and has given me a simple one line review:

"Best. Superhero. Movie. Ever."

That's good enough for me!

Been looking forward to this since long before it was ever announced. Love that clip with Loki and Stark.

Picked up Thor and Captain America from tesco today as haven't seen CA yet. Made the OH watch Thor tonight as she hadn't seen it and was a handy reminder for me ready for The Avengers

So cheesy, but still brilliant. Definitely one for the IMAX cinema!

I booked for us all to go and see it on 3D on Thursday evening... To say I'm excited is an understatment.

I've even taken the night off work hehe

So, take the amount you think the Avengers will be good. Put it in a box.

HULK SMASH BOX!!!!

It is so fantastically, ridiculously good I may have to take something to stop bouncing up and down like a kid.

There are some seriously tense moments, some incredible, mind blowing action scenes and quite a few proper, deep belly laugh moments.

It's without a doubt the best superhero type film there has ever been and Avengers 2, Iron Man 3 etc will have to do a lot to beat it.

The sheer joy of having them all together in one film is just brilliant.

Go see it. If you don't think it's brilliant you're literally dead inside.

Oh, and yes, it's definitely Hulk's film. Infinitely better than the previous 2 Hulks.

Just got back from seeing it. It's every bit as good as previous posters. Some thoughts...

Ive never been so relieved to hear acdc.
They finally got dr banner right.
The vfx are excellent, top notch.
There are some very big laughs, quite a few from hulk/thor and a big one from hulk/loki.
The villain is great.

I'm DC through and throu but i must confess to some huge geek out moments watching this. It's just EXCELLENT.

I enjoyed it. I think I'm getting desensitised to all the CGI as impressive as some of the scenes were it's all a bit meh at times. The end scenes reminded me very much of transfomers 3. SJ is nice to look at but why her and the bloke with the never ending arrows were there was beyond me..... They weren't very super.

3D gets on my tits, unless my local cinema is just st. It seemed to always be dark and gives me a headache. I saw Avatar in NYC on a IMAX and it was like being in the bloody jungle with them, leaves falling on your lap etc, the glasses themselves seemed much better tech too.

Anyhow very good popcorn movie.
