Rather annoyed that the cinemas local to us are only showing this in 3d or imax 3d, can't stand 3d so I guess I won't be seeing this on the big screen.

Vue have listings for non 3d but nowhere local to us.

It doesn't fit in the chronology at all, unfortunately.

Think of it as an 'alternative universe' Mad Max.

Apparently its not a Mad Max 4 following directly after Thunderdome in chronological order, but more of further on in years but the film takes bits from the other movies.

Looking at the trailer it takes alot from Mad Max 2 with the petrol tanker.
