Isn't the Carrie actress (Claire Danes) one of the show's main makers/producers anyway? Can't see her killing herself off, surely. But who knows, maybe that would be the ultimate shock.
Executive producer this year, so that means she's funding it... I.e. Unlikely to kill off the star...

No comments on last night's episode? I predicted early on (correctly!) what she was going to do but didn't foresee the next bit.

According to MrsC the Daily Mail plaster spoilers all over their site every week and therefore she knew what the episode ending was already. Luckily she knows better than to tell me!

It's normal for stars to get EP credits on US TV shows. Doesn't mean they have invested money in it. Homeland lists 16 producers and the show is owned by Showtime which is part of CBS, a company with assets of over $26 billion.

This weeks (US) episode is excellent.

You could hardly take a high powered rifle shot from that up close and get up that quickly!

Still though really good episode. I still believed right up until she took the shot that it wasn't going to be Quinn, that it was some sort of Hamas group or something!

Makes you wonder why people bother with the plates when you just need to wear a heavy weight stab type vest to stop a rifle bullet At less than 100yrds

Was Quinn on his way to kill her or to warn her?

I'm guessing to kidnap her until he can work out who left the kill order.

The improv jazz music - as a title theme, and also usually as an accompaniment to scenes with Carrie, is obviously designed to reflect her wacky free form chaotic bipolar mind. However I just find it gets right on my tits
