Bloody video cut off the end!

Which was quickest, the Noble, Lambo or Macca (I assume none was as quick as the Fezza)?
Out of the three Lambo the quickest with 1:59, Noble 2:03 I think and Macca 2:06 I think.
None quicker than the Ferrari though.

Brilliant episode, was looking forwards to Matt Le Blanc as I am a fan of Friends, seemed like a nice guy and a petrolhead.

SlS review was good too, but I would rather have a 458 italia. Chinese stig hehehehe
China really is going to become a massive superpower, and bloody hell how have those companies got away with making BLATANT copies of other cars?

Except on here there will be chants of "CHAV! CHAV! CHAV!" because it has a Vauxhall badge on it, followed by twenty pages of rage because they dented a car while making a TV show.
laugh

And even more about wasting licence payers money despite it being the film company covering the costs in return for a nice chunk of publicity.

Apologies if I have missed it, but what happened to the news section with the bloke with the James May tattoo on his thigh?

Surprised they have let that go.

Load of crap, hope Top Gear is taken off telly soon, it's not what it used to be, destroying perfect cars for no reason.

Just kidding wink Thought it was brilliant. Liked Mays reviews of Panda and Corsa, always have liked his reviews. Bloody hell, how many Nurburgring stickers were there on the Corsa lol, have to agree with May though, I don't understand this obsession that car makers have about the Nurburgring.
When they mentioned the Morgan on the news, I thought they were going to show the GT Eva.

SIARPC was good, looked genuine and his film looks good too, didn't expect the lap to be that good though IMO.
Loved the Sweeney bit, could have been better yeah but thats the thing about Clarkson and Co, they don't take things that seriously, they know how to have a laugh. Jag looked and sounded MEAN nuts and Focus looked nice too, lol at the fake dials. Angriest man in the world pmsl, and borat accent had me cracking too. Ending was brilliant too, really enjoyed that bit.
And I disagree about not having Hammond, if any of them leave the show, it won't be the same, and oh please about Tiff replacing Hammond, the guys just ain't all that IMO.

yikes Could have been rip Ray Winstone.

That would've been an entertaining comparison, rather than comparing the Corsa to a Panda full of fat People.
In which case you clearly completely missed the point that James May was trying to make.
@johnnytheboy, the point May was trying to make is that you don't need cars such as the Corsa VXR to have fun, you can have fun in less powerful and cheaper cars such as the Panda.

I think given the current state of the economy which had lead to many families in trouble, showing mindless wrecking of cars that most people can't afford shows bad taste in my opinion.

What a boring episode, only funny bit was the fatties in the Panda.
Are you actually being serious?

Honestly?
I think they should stop showing supercars considering the current state of economy, not many people can afford them or running costs wink

TG posted this on FB a week ago, before episode 2.

Hear what Jezza and Wilman have to say. They can't please everyone all of the time and most of the people watching don't know the first thing about cars. This means that what entertains the sort of car geeks that use this website won't necessarily entertain everyone else.
I guess the whole banging on about having to hold the TC button 10seconds was a piss-take at the expense of the sort of pathetic saddos that complain on car forums about TopGear hehe

woosh parrot....anyone?
The same thought crosses my mind, along with the ABS fuse, etc.
yes
Probably the continuity errors as well.
hehe That video was great. I wish I could see their faces when they read these threads. I can imagine the executive producer falling off his chair.
I reckon he'll die of laughter if he ever read sloppys comment wink

One thing I do miss is when they used to test quite a few cars in one episode e.g. when they tested the Astra VXR, Golf and Megane, and stuff such as whats the best the best car for Britain, anyone remember; Clarkson with the Noble, May with the Rover 75(?) and Hammond with the Morgan, or went they went to Isle Of Man with the M6, 911 and V8 Vantage, one of my favourite TG scenes ever.

Hammond might be a little irritating but still puts a smile on my face, he has done some magnificent stuff/reviews such as Lambo vs Slr in the desert, Bugatti vs Macca F1.

And Andy Wilman said in the video just because you may not like certain stuff such as SIARPC, doesn't mean others can't like it, what you may hate others might like.

Out of the 3 episodes so far, this has been the weakest, thats not saying that it wasn't good, I though it was excellent, plus save the best till last; F10 M5, Ferrari FF, Saab tribute(this could be one of the biggest highlights of the series among Pistonheader's) etc winksmile

Brilliant episode!'Fister' looks brilliant, reminds me of a Maserati 3200 from the back, but thats not a bad thing. Brian Johnson, what a man, love his accent, and "thunder guts" nuts
SIARPC was quite good too, I always watch this segment and I thought he was a good guest, best part was when Clarkson said stig was jealous because Fassbenders "helmet was more famous than his" biglaughroflroflrofl that had me creasing.
Ferrari FF & Bentley footage was simply stunning, as usual with top gear, would take the Ferrari though, just a big fan of the brand.

News segment when Jezza goes to the old man "what are you smiling about" pmsl! I almost spat my drink out, hilarious when he takes the mick out of someone from the audience rofl , anyone remember 'jesus'biggrin or these; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDVy4PkLxkUhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2E7OmSJ2IqE
It's like the government doesn't want to see any teenagers driving, fk them, they were teenagers once too.

Wheelchair/mobility scooter bit, I really enjoyed that, thought it was great, love the bits when they have the army/marines.soldiers are involved. And Fenton oh my days haha roflrofl
3 top blokes "my legs fallen off", "I landed on my gps" heheclap
What an episode.
Time to watch Starsky and Hutch now (its on iplayer) smile

Tesla are making themselves look very stupid. They are protesting too much over range and so you start to wonder.
I'd be more concerned with the issue of the batteries bricking and Tesla wanting $40,000 to replace them. eek

Sounds like Top Gear is the least of their worries!
I've heard about this, bloody hell. Tesla need to drop this BBC/ Top gear case, they're making themselves look really desperate.

Good episode really enjoyed it. Rocket man is fking the coolest man ever thumbup What must have been going through his head when he jumped out of the plane. Imagine the adrenlanine nuts When the driver Toni said hello to the camera hehe . Didn't expect them to show May and Clarkson multi-tasking whilst driving thumbup . Maserati MC Stradale cloud9 . Unbelievably good looking, and oufff, what a noise! It just oozes in class. Mercedes was good too, but not for me, though it set a very good lap time around the track.

SIARPC was good for me, Im a fan of Doctor Who, so I was looking forwards to this. Think Matts mates got the ideas from Pistonheads "The Shed" biggrin Just because you may not like this segment, doesn't mean others can't watch it, and not every star has to be a petrolhead.

Saab tribute was good, but not as good as the Lancia one imo. Saab were digging their own graves by not listening to GM, so you can understand why they flopped in the end. Loved their commercials though, and their obsession with fighter jets, brilliant. Saab 99 turbo, one of the best looking cars, just love the looks of it cloud9

Don't understand hate for Hammond, if he was to leave the show, it just wouldnt be the same, then everyone on Pistonheads will be saying 'its not the same without him', 'he was annoying but we all liked him' lol wink

Next episode is the one I'm looking most forwards to out of the whole series. James is testing the F10 M5, always thought it was going to be Clarkson. Should be interesting to see if he stays on topic, or will he suddenly bring out the Fiat Panda and say it is more fun than an M5 biggrin
