Series 3 starts filming in September for airing in Fall of 2015. Apparently we won't get closure on who shot G.
I was amazed at the way Saga handled the whole situation but I suppose that is what we expect from someone who lives for the job and also someone with an Asperger's type condition.

I can't understand why Saga would have a 911. To me, it makes no sense. Her only interests are her work and sex (not love). It's not the kind of car that I think an autistic would buy, unless they were fixated by cars (which she isn't).
Doesn't stop it being a nice car, though.
She's high functioning Aspergers, there is a difference. Doesn't stop it being a nice car, though.
Had to smile at her jumper changing scene in S2 episode 2 (I'm just catching up), typical Asp.

On IMDB there is one that has started in the US, assume that is a remake of this?
Is the original in English or subtitled?
It's subtitled, there is an American remake of the first series, don't know about a remake of the second. Is the original in English or subtitled?
There is also a British/French remake of the first but I didn't like it.
That was some great telly, characters you cared about, a clever storyline, without it being ridiculously convoluted.
I hope Salamander can fill the void.
The BBC should hang their heads in shame.
Did not expect that ending!
The only 2 that I listed at the time that haven't been shown are Salamander and Inspector Da Luca.
Salamander - Belgian thriller (12*60min episodes) - Starts next week
Show info behind spoiler so as not to give to much of plot away.
Inspector Da Luca - Italian series

I've had a quick look around to see what else the BBC have acquired and found this info
Return of an old favourite
Wallander season 3 (with Krister Henriksson 6 * 90min episodes)
Plus new stuff
1864 (8 x 60min episodes)

An excellant series surprised at the ending. I wonder if some of this series will be woven into the next series ? Who was the silhouetted man ?
What's the next must watch on BBC 4 ?
Back in May last year I posted a list of shows that BBC4 had acquired which included these that have since been shown, Borgan 3, Bridge 2, Inspector Montalbano, Young Montalbano. What's the next must watch on BBC 4 ?

Everyone has secrets. But these can bring down a nation. In a private Brussels bank, 66 safe-deposit boxes are raided. The owner of the bank wants to keep the thefts under wraps but police inspector Paul Gerardi catches wind of the affair. With his incorruptible, old-school morals and devil-may-care attitude, Gerardi throws himself into the investigation, and when some of the key players are murdered, commit suicide or vanish, soon realises just how big the case is.
Gerardi discovers that the victims are members of a secret organisation called Salamander, made up of the country's industrial, financial, judicial and political elite, and the safe-deposit boxes contained their most intimate secrets - secrets that could bring down the nation. As he becomes the target of both the criminals and the authorities, Gerardi must quickly find out what their agenda is. And who is behind the thefts...

made by Ager 3/Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana. A four-part crime series based on the novels by Carlo Lucarelli, it is set in and around Bologna during the tumultuous years of Mussolini’s dictatorship. Inspector De Luca is an investigator whose brutal honesty and uncompromising character may help him solve cases, but combined with his love of women, they also conspire to get him in trouble...

Brothers Laust and Peter live in an innocent world full of hope, under poor, but happy, circumstances, in the Danish countryside in the middle of the 19th century.
Following the victories over the Prussians in the war of 1848-51, Denmark is now scheming to annex Schleswig into the Danish Kingdom. Inflamed with nationalism, the leader of the Danish parliament, Monrad, neglects all European treaties and throws the country into war with Prussia. At the same time, Laust and Peter grow up and fall in love with the well-read and beautiful Inge, but when the war erupts Peter and Laust volunteer for the army...
1864 is an epic, highly cinematic historical drama, in which we become eyewitnesses to momentous events and the extraordinary love story of Peter, Laust and Inge, and how the brothers - along with thousands of Danish soldiers - fought some of the bloodiest battles in European history.
Starring: Jakob Oftebro, Pilou Asbæk, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Søren Malling. 1864 is made by Miso Film in co-operation with DR, is directed by Ole Bornedal and produced by Jonas Allen and Peter Bose.
Ann-Kristin Westerberg, COO – Rights & Int’l Sales, AB Svensk Filmindustri, says: "We are extremely pleased to have the BBC on board and look forward to the UK audience sharing Crimes Of Passion and 1864.”

I hope that it's better than it's US spin-off that's on at the moment. Hostages is created by Rotem Shamir and Omri Givon and produced by Haim Sharir.

Do you mean that series 3 will stand alone in terms of script,
or there will be a fourth series where they will/may find out who ......?
I mean I have seen interviews with scriptwriters and they have stated that we won't find out who shot..... I am not saying too much as I don't want to start adding spoilers but suffice to say series 3 will be a different story just like Series 2 differed from series 1. Am I the only person who thought that I recognised the outline and face of the shooter?Do you mean that series 3 will stand alone in terms of script,
or there will be a fourth series where they will/may find out who ......?
