Scary stuff, as has been said, it's child abuse with the doctors not being able to point out the truth.

I'm just chewing on a pair of raw goats bks. Lovely.

I've just order the Robb Wolf Paleo book as I'm going to give that a try. I'm not going strict though, weekends are free reign in my life, I like guiness too much.

I didn't know he has a book. He's a bit full-on, especially with crossfit. Have you looked at Mark Sissons at all? Not strictly paleo and more manageable.

I found paleo an interesting diversion but some of the claims a little bit 'out there'. hehe

I only watched the first bit, but I assume it's the usual paleo / killer wheat garbage?
The stuff that assumes the human genome has been unchanged for over 10,000 year and ignores the fact that we've been eating wheat for more than enough time to evolve tolerance.
Yeah, thanks, but no thanks.

Faddy diet aspect aside, I am not sure you should write the theory off so easily. Modern wheat is a completely different plant from ancient Einkorn wheat. We have only been eating it for fifty years or so. The same is true of the cereal seed oils that are stuffed into everything. And both of these 'advances' have gone through the exact same safety and health testing that all new human foods do - none.

Very few of the sceptics have any real interest and therefore knowledge of this subject.
I've followed the 'movement' with interest and experimented for myself. I now what works for me but make no claims for or on behalf of others.
There's a lot of rubbish claimed by some proponents but the general philosophy of consuming fresh produce and less processed 'food' is difficult to deny.
Plenty are happy to readily consume this stuff despite what they see around them. That's what baffles me.
