Anybody going to see the live show, starting tomorrow night at the MEN in Manchester, think it's running for 16 nights, all in aid of comic relief.
I've two tickets for the 14th, can't wait, ding dang do.
I'm a wheelchair user and been thinking about going as Brian Potter , what's the worst that can happen, I'll get thrown out or on the DVD, LOL.
Wife and I are going Saturday 6th, very much looking forward to it. I was tempted to go as Keith laird, or Clinton baptiste.I've two tickets for the 14th, can't wait, ding dang do.

According to Twitter Ted Robbins (Den Perry) collapsed on stage just after the interval during the first show of Phoenix Nights live this evening

Yes, very sad - they are reporting he was stable late last night.
First half was funny and they had just kicked it up a notch for the second half.
One minute he was talking, next he was flat on his back. He dropped like a stone.
The crowd were told to leave and we all just shuffled out in stunned shock, clearly they were working on him behind the curtain.
Presume they will have to carry on this evening without him.

Really enjoyed that.
Wasn't sure how it was going to be played out. More than happy how it was done. All the cast got the chance to play their parts. Would like to have seen Max and Paddy for a bit longer but more than happy with their scene.
The Max and Paddy scene starts with them doing the 'Can ye ear me naow' with Max on one side of the Arena and Paddy on the other. Not sure that it was part of the script tonight, but as Max was walking down the steps a guy was coming up them. He stopped in front of Max and just leaned in and gave him a kiss. This just seemed to throw them both. On the big screen you could see Paddy just trying to hold the laughter back. They both made a couple of cracks about tongues and Paddy just turned his back and collapsed to the floor with laughter.
They both then got the to stage and we got the short Bolton fans scene. Was pleased to see that one of my regular taxi passengers (although I haven't picked him up for a while) still got to say his line - '.... you long streak of p**s'. Must ask him to do the line next time I pick him up.
They have scheduled another date on the afternoon of Sun 15th Feb for those that were at the opening night that was cut short. http://www.manchester-arena.com/events/peter-kay-s...
