I enjoyed it. Definitely a bit less serious than previous "new" Doctor Who, which is a good thing IMO.

I thought it was quite a good episode, interesting start to the series. The start was quite dark for modern Doctor Who as well I think - Which I find quite cool!

Will be quite interesting to see how they play this series.

Great start to the new series, really enjoyed it. New assistant is easy on the eye and a bit of a smart alec, could be interesting. Tennant was a much better Doc than the current hand waving sissy though, imho.
Was she the new assistant? That's good, I was disappointed to see her Daleked up.

Smiths much better than Tennant. tongue out

I didn't vote, but having seen Tennant a few times on cable, I dont think his work is wearing very well. I find him more annoying on re-runs than I did at the time his stuff was new.

I prefer Smith too.

Ecclestone for me. Prefer his angry search northern doctor. Especially the way he repeated refers to the Piper as a monkey.

Just watched all 6 minutes of Pond Life on iPlayer. Didn't really explain how the Ponds drifted apart, apart from Amy eating his sausage*

That was explained in the main Doc Who episode last night. Amy pushed him away because she cant have kids and knew that Rory wanted kids.

Quick question.

Has anyone ever seen these two in the same room together?
