Before they were famous

Another Long Good Friday debutante was Dexter Fletcher (later to star in Lock, Stock... and Snatch) - he's the kid who says 'fiver for mindin' yer car mistah' after Howard and Razors (who played Hatchet Harry in Lock Stock) have finished attacking Denzil from Only Fools & Horses with a machete. And then of course there's the most notable Long Good Friday debutante, 'First Irishman':No words but a very famous scene.
Also, if anyone's seen the long-forgotten (unfairly so IMO) 'Full Circle' (creepy late '70s horror film with Mia Farrow and Tom Conti, set in Kensington and featuring a Bristol 407 and a Citroen DS21 among other things), you'll maybe notice that the estate agent, who you only see from behind unlocking the front door to Mia Farrow's new house before having it slammed in his face and is on screen for all of ten seconds, is in fact Nigel Havers.
Also, if anyone's seen an obscure WWI film from the late '90s called The Trench, the big leading-man star of which was Paul Nichols:

And currently on ITV4 is Boycie from Only Fools and Horses playing a thug opposite Peter "Grouty" Vaughan.
That also looks like a young Angus Deayton hanging up the public phone as the scene opens.............http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9h3Po8hP5Q

Patrick Mcgoohan was in Dambusters as well.
Has anyone mentioned Hell Drivers yet?
Great shout - what a cast list! Some very famous faces looking very young including Jill Ireland, Sean Connery, David McCallum and Gordon Jackson.Has anyone mentioned Hell Drivers yet?
Absolutely love Hell Drivers; yes, the speeded-up footage now looks funny but the air of menace from Patrick McGoohan's "Red" is real enough. Would really like a movie poster, yet to find one.
1960, the League of Gentlemen. the Jack Hawkins led bank job caper. During which a very camp sounding Oliver Reed crashes one of their meetings in a theatre asking if it was the Babes in the Wood rehearsals.

Just spotted a face in a very short appearance in Gattaca, while watching it for the first time in nearly 20 years - jogged something in my memory. Couldn't place it....
A quick Google shows I'm correct - an actor from a very good show a few years ago.
(Quick check on Pistonheads - of course Halb has started a 'before they were famous' thread )
Anyone know this one? (WITHOUT Googling you sneaky sods!)
