Nope - just not interested in newer films, probably.

Maybe my life is just too packed to bother with watching rather than doing.

Over almost 11 years - and I work from home, so PH is my office chat.

We noticed a very young Brad Pitt in a couple of episodes of Dallas, plying Charly's (Jenna's daughter) boyfriend!

Craig Ferguson, the Scotish/American chatshow host, originally wrote Martin Clune's grumpy Doc Martin character.

He was also in the Buttercup cough syrup advert years before that (and before Spaced, Hippies, et al)

It always interests me when I watch old things and a face pops up, sort of recognisable, younger and leaner, then it disappears because it's a walk on three or a bit part.

Recent ones I have spotted.
  1. A very young Jonny Lee Miller as a leather clad love interest of Onslo's wife in Keeping Up Appearances
  2. Viggo Mortenson in Witness
  3. Jake Gyllenhaal as the kid in City Slickers
  4. Tom Hardy as 'Hi I'm character A' who promptly gets blown up seconds later in Band of Brothers.
I don't know who any of these people are. Are they REALLY famous?
Well, Tom Hardy was the baddy in the latest batman, played Charles bronson, and is very much a Hollywood hit.
Viggo Mortenson played Aragorn in lord of the Rings
jake (*()&^*^ was the guy from Donnie Darko and Brokebum Mountain
johnny Lee Miller was in trainspotting, and Dexter if memory serves me.
JLM now stars in Elemantary with Lucy Liu.

Jeff Goldblum & Jim Carrey as furry aliens in 'Earth Girls are Easy' with Geena Davies, admittetly Goldblum had made 'The Fly' the year before, but Carrey made this a few months after playing a corpse in Deadpool and before playing 'Lounge Entertainer' in Pink Cadillac the year after.

Jim Carrey was in the Dirty Harry film, The Dead Pool. Not many people know that.
